Job Description

The WebCenter Sites (WCS) Developers role is to analyze, design, develop, integrate, and troubleshoot Oracle WCS. This includes configuring, coding, developing, integrating, testing and documenting software specifications throughout the project life cycle. The WCS Developer will work in the definition of the necessary schemas, the business process flows, and the user interfaces. Specific responsibilities include:
Work under the direction of Service Delivery and follow the architecture & design.
Analyzing user requirements, prototyping processes, and designing process solutions.
Hands on developer or architect working with one or more major enterprise content management platform from an industry leading vendor
Recent IMPLEMENTATION experience with WebCenter Sites (formerly Fatwire); experience with older Fatwire product versions
Concrete experience and background with Imaging, Document Management, and Web Content Management; other ECM pillars are pluses
Comfortable working in any operating systemWindows, OSX, Linux
Solid Java/J2EE development experience
Have strong understanding of CSS3, Javascript, and frameworks like JQuery, Angular JS, and Bootstrap
Recent IMPLEMENTATION experience with WebCenter Content (formerly UCM, or Universal Content Management); experience with older, pre-Oracle acquisition Stellent product will still be given consideration
Experience with development, coding and integration of WebCenter Content with web, portal, and other data/content systems is a must; administration and tuning of WebCenter Content and/or WebCenter Sites a plus
Experience capturing and expressing ontology and taxonomy concepts in consumable format by business and technical audiences
Perform within existing standards and architectures.
Collaborate with Project Managers, Solution Analysts, Application Developers, Database Team Members, QA Analysts, and Business Users in the development and initiation of new applications.
Participate and provide leadership in the installation, configuration, deployment, and administration of WCS product suite and engine.
Perform diagnostic analysis of test results and deliver solutions to critical areas.
Run and monitor performance/integration/unit tests on new and existing applications for the purposes of correcting mistakes, isolating areas for improvement, and general debugging.
Develop an awareness of business process programming and design alternatives.
Cultivate and disseminate knowledge of business process and application development best practices.
Train, manage and provide guidance to junior software development staff as required

Job Requirements
Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree
At least 2 years of hands on experience in application development with Java technologies
At least 3 years of hands on experience with WCS
At least 3 year experience in performing detailed testing and debugging over Oracle SOA Suite
At least 3 year experience in implementing the processes to integrate with other systems
At least 3 year experience in working in a team environment
At least 3 year experience in performing any potential optimization and updates the processes accordingly
Willingness to work regular full-time
