Job Description

Strong experience in Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Database Administrator (DBA) is a member of the ERP DBA Team and serves as the administrator, technical support expert, and architect of Client’s multiple development, test, and production Oracle E-Business Suite environments. Working closely with local and remote application support, development, and infrastructure teams, the EBS DBA will ensure the databases and application technology stacks are available, secured, compliant, and performing efficiently. He will lead Oracle E-Business Suite installation, patching, upgrading, and customization deployment as well as analyze and propose new technological solutions.

Installing, configuring, monitoring, maintaining, and performance tuning production and development databases and Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) components. Supporting financials and manufacturing modules as well as the entire technology stack within EBS release 11.5, 12.1, and 12.2. Performing cloning to refresh and build new instances.

Creating, upgrading, patching, and migrating Oracle 10g/11g databases on all platforms. Patching, upgrading, and deploying code changes to Oracle E-Business Suite environments.

Strong experience in Database Administration in SQL Server ( 2008,2012,2014 ).
Experience in troubleshooting and resolving database integrity issues, performance issues, blocking and deadlocking issues, replication issues, log shipping issues, connectivity issues, security issues, SQL Server Reporting Service Administration , Installation and Clustering.

Experience in Performance Tuning, Query Optimization, using Performance Monitor, SQL Profiler and other related monitoring and troubleshooting tools. Ability to detect and troubleshoot SQL Server related CPU,memory,I/O, disk space and other resource contention.

Solid acquaintance with windows server, security delegation, SPNs, storage components. Documentation skills for processes and procedures ( creating KBs, runbooks, topology etc ) SQL Database Operational support to tech users

Job Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in a computer-related field or equivalent, with +7 years of experience in Databases Administration.
• At least 3 years working experience in an Oracle EBS Systems Administrator role.
• At least 2 years of experience administering Oracle 10g/11g/12c databases
• Oracle Database technologies High availabilitiese, RAC and DG.
• At least 2 years working experience in SQL Server Databases Administration.
• At least 2 years working experience in Reporting Service & Integration Service Administration
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Very Good Applications Development Background
• Willingness to learn new technologies
