Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 Primary responsibility is to manage the next generation ERP project for a leading construction and engineering company, this person will partner closely with business leads in Operations, Finance, Sales and HR, along with, business systems analysts, application developers, system administrators, and vendors to deliver the project in line with the timing and objectives of the project.

The Project will involve significant change management involving training and the PM will need to project manage the change management process across the organization.

Role and Responsibilities:

– Work with the project sponsor, stakeholders, executives and business leaders to ensure that projects are scoped properly and handed off seamlessly for execution and/or acceptance.

– Develop and manage project schedules, identify risks and clearly communicate them to project stakeholders, define problem solving and risk mitigation strategies, and facilitate conflict resolution through the full project cycle.

– Integrate with other large strategic and complex projects of the company.

– Build and manage resource and financial plans to support the implementation.

– Drive all phases of project delivery.

– Facilitate the adoption of significant process change across the organization

– Control the change management function required from ERP system implementations

– Drive the project to completion in line with corporate goals

Required Experience/Skills:

– 15+ years of experience with 7+ years as project manager.

– 4+ full lifecycle SAP/Oracle Apps. implementations of major transformational projects for large organizations

– A track record of delivering change and bringing value to an organization

– A diverse background of roles and experiences

– Ability to negotiate internally and manage corporate politics

– Ability to work across all levels and styles within the organization

– Strong written and spoken communications skills

– A team leader with excellent management skills.

The position must utilize a broad business and IT perspective and work effectively with multiple areas of the organization.

To succeed you will have a strong background in solution deployment using a packaged ERP solution. You should also have a sound knowledge of IT infrastructure as it relates to successful application deployment.
